Adventist HealthCare Leadership Team Adopts Hoiya Health Clinic, PNG
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Adventist HealthCare Leadership Team for making us their charity of choice!
Led by CEO Brett Goods, the team recently gathered in Sydney for their annual Focus Day, where they took time to learn more about the life-changing work we’re doing to stamp out diabetes and other lifestyle-related diseases across the South Pacific.
This powerful session highlighted how community-led initiatives, such as our Ambassador program and Adopt a Wellness Clinic initiative, are making a lasting impact in some of the region’s most remote and vulnerable communities.
As part of their commitment, the Adventist HealthCare team has chosen to adopt the Hoiya Health Clinic in Papua New Guinea, one of our priority clinics. Their support will directly benefit this community by providing essential medical equipment, staff training, and more, helping to improve health outcomes and save lives.
To wrap up the day, the team proudly wore their 10,000 Toes socks as a visible show of solidarity, and their support is helping to raise awareness and vital funds for the Hoiya Health Clinic.
“It’s always inspiring to see leaders engaging with purpose and showing their support so publicly,” said Pamela Townend, Campaign Co-ordinator. “Their enthusiasm energises the movement and reminds us of what we can achieve together.”
