South Pacific nations have the highest prevalence of diabetes in the world. As a result of this the United Nations reports that diabetes and other non-communicable diseases are one of the greatest threats to the region’s development.
The 10,000 Toes campaign is committed to saving the lives and limbs of those affected. This can only be achieved by educating, inspiring and empowering 10,000 Toes Ambassadors across the South Pacific who are willing to unite and are committed to helping combat diabetes and other non-communicable diseases.

Level 1: Ambassador
Criteria:
It is a person who:
- Brings whole-person health to communities
- Understands lifestyle diseases and their causes/prevention
- Applies the whole-person health message in their own life
- Has a deep desire to help people on their health journey
- Is committed to the cause and delivering key performance indicators
- Promotes 10,000 Toes to the community
Key Performance Indicators:
- Completes the 10,000 Toes Ambassador training
- Participates in at least one health expo each year
- Participates in 2-3 health events/initiatives/programs/fundraisers each year
- Signs up as a 10,000 Toes Ambassador on the digital platform
- Follows us on Social Media
- Reports to Team Ambassador
All 10,000 Toes Ambassador applications will be evaluated against compliance with selection criteria and the 10,000 Toe Campaign coordinator’s decision to approve or refuse an application is final. The 10,000 Toes Campaign Coordinator reserves the right to retract any approval where it is found that the 10,000 Toes Ambassador misrepresents the campaign or breaches its terms and conditions.
