Fruit Truffles are delicious and healthy treats for any celebration! Prepare in bulk to have these nutritious sweet treats on hand for when you need them.

Dried fruit generally contains a lot of fibre and is a great source of antioxidants, especially polyphenols. Polyphenol antioxidants are associated with health benefits such as improved blood flow, better digestive health, decreased oxidative damage and a reduced risk of many diseases, including type two diabetes.

Dried fruits should be enjoyed in a balanced diet, and eaten in appropriate moderation. Dried fruits can have a high volume of sugar, which needs to be balanced in a healthy diet.

These delicious fruit truffles are perfect to take along to a dinner party, a birthday party or any special event shared with family and friends. The children will love these sweet balls, and may like one in their school lunch boxes once or twice a week. These tasty desserts are not a meal but a little treat to be consumed in mindful moderation.
