The 10,000 Toes Campaign is proud to introduce Mrs Mary-Clare, our new Associate Regional Ambassador in Fiji! We’re so pleased to have Mrs Mary-Clare working with us and supporting the community with our important health message.

“Hello, my name is Mary-Clare. I have been a 10,000 Toes Ambassador since the 10,000 Toes Campaign was officially rolled out in Fiji, and that was in 2020. In the recent 10,000 Toes Wellness Health Summit I was given an award as Associate Regional Ambassador.  I was humbled, I felt blessed, I was excited, I was happy, and I look forward to the challenges and the joys of working in this new role. Being an ambassador is a very exciting journey. I invite you all to become Ambassadors and join me and the thousands of other Ambassadors in the 10,000 Toes Campaign South Pacific fight against diabetes and help to improve the health of our Pacific Island people. Everyone should become Ambassadors, thank you.”

South Pacific nations have the highest prevalence of diabetes in the world. As a result of this, the United Nations reports that diabetes and other non-communicable diseases are one of the greatest threats to the region’s development.

The 10,000 Toes campaign is committed to saving the lives and limbs of those affected. This can only be achieved by educating, inspiring and empowering 10,000 Toes Ambassadors across the South Pacific who are willing to unite and are committed to helping combat diabetes and other non-communicable diseases.
